This was a five day, 65km backpacking trip from Madison Falls to Sol Duc. The path was up Olympic Hot Springs trail to Boulder Creek CG, on the 1st day; Appleton Pass to Oyster Lake CG; Cat Basin-Appleton Pass Way to Swimming Bear; then Cat Basin Primative and High Divide trail into Seven Lakes area, with our 4th camp near Silver Snag CG. The retreat was backtracking High Divide and out Soleduck R. trail to Sol Duc.
